Scott Chiasson, John MacLellan, Mike MacGillivray and Ronnie Power were presented with their team jerseys and commemorative framed photos in recognition of their commitment to the Bulldogs during their time wearing the Black & Gold.
Major award winners were:
Leading Scorer - David McCarthy (Toronto)
Most Valuable Player - Steven MacGillivray (Antigonish)
Top Defenseman - Scott Chiasson (Cheticamp)
Rookie of the Year - Tim MacDougall (Antigonish)
Most Improved Player - Colby VanOirschot (Antigonish)
True Team Player - Peter MacDonald (Port Hood)
MVP Playoffs - Ricky Chisholm (Antigonish)
Dedication, Determination & Desire Award - Ricky Chisholm
Coach's Award - Graeme Lodge (Fort St. James, BC)
President's Award - Ronnie Power (East Hants)
The banquet was well-attended by parents, Arena staff and other invited guests, during which the coaches and players expressed their thanks to the executive and board for their contribution to the operation of the Bulldog organization. The commitment of the players, coaching and bench staffs was also acknowledged by president Miles Tompkins on behalf of the board.
The Bulldogs are already looking forward to next season when a new crop of top-notch prospects will be vying for positions alongside a group of returning veterans.
Have a great off-season!
